I had SIX piles of laundry that really needed to be done, a dishwasher was full of clean dishes, the floor needed mopped, it had been at least a month since I dusted, and Eric probably would like dinner at a reasonable hour...but we had a beautiful, warm, fall day on our hands (and we know how it is here in Maryland!! Snow in October!)...so Samuel and I voted and decided instead of doing boring chores, we would go to the park instead and enjoy one of the last nice days of fall!!!!
We visited Furnace Park in Lonaconing...one of Samuel's favorite parks! He loves the slide there, and all the great places he can hang on and dangle from! The weather was just perfect!

Even though we are closing in on the age of 2...Samuel hates the swing!!! This is the best we can do when it comes to the swing...he will push the swing!

Like that bruiser on the head???? Samuel met the ground head first when we were outside playing one morning!!! He only cried for a minute, and cried mainly because I insisted on washing it off and applying a cold pack...how dare me! He wanted to stay outside and play!

When he was ready to go, Samuel ran to my purse and found my keys for me! See, who needs words??? Samuel always gets his point across :0)
We had such a great afternoon at the park! We eventually got around to doing the chores...and we even got dinner on the table at a reasonable time. It may have been chicken nuggets and fries, but it still counts :0)
