Creek Time!

With summer coming to an end, we spend as much time as possible at Barton Beach.  It's amazing how much things have changed over the past four months!  When we started going to the creek in May, Samuel was kind of wobbly, I had to pick up rocks for him to throw, he couldn't easily wade through the water.  Fast forward a few months and Samuel is RUNNING up and down the creek rocks, balancing himself on rocks, wading easily, and A-MAZ-ING at throwing rocks!!!  After a summer of rock throwing, he has quite the little arm for a one year old!!!

Though, there is some monotony to going to the creek hours on hours each day, several times a day, it's also very relaxing and fun! Plus, Samuel loves it so much, therefore I love going to the creek with him!   We splash, we wade, we throw big rocks, we throw little rocks, we throw rocks to see how far they will go, we throw rocks to see what kind of splash we can get, we stack rocks.  There are many many many things you can do with rocks, and until you experience it with a one year old, you really have no idea!!!

I was able to get a few pictures of Samuel last week at the creek.  He is looking so grown-up and so cute!  He has the sweetest disposition too!  He will give anyone hugs, and if he is hesitant to give a hug he gives a high-five instead!  How cute is that?!  I love my little creek boy!
