During one of Samuel's many explorations this summer, Samuel discovered something amazing...Sam-Dad's house. Sam-dad is Samuel's great-grandfather (and his namesake). He lives next door to us.
Samuel isn't overly crazy about Sam-dad, but boy does he love his house!!!! Of course he does, because he's a little boy and Sam has A LOT of neat stuff for little boys to look at, touch, and mess with!
Sam has a big covered porch with lots of miscellaneous items on it, and to a 1-year old, the fun never stops by looking at old books, tools, brooms, baskets, and anything else you can imagine!!! As soon as we get in the driveway, Samuel takes off running to the door. He can almost open it himself!!
His new favorite game is to put me and Peso on the porch, and shut the door and wave at us...and then put us outside and have me stand and look in the door window and wave at him. We play this game all the time!
Samuel is also fascinated by cars. He checks all of Sam's tires every time we go over...even multiple times a day! Sam-dad will never have a flat tire!
He checks the lights too!
After playing on the porch, checking the tires, and checking lights. Samuel is ready to head off to his next adventure! Samuel is so agile, he can walk up a fairly steep hill to get to Sam-dad's house. I guess the hill wasn't proving to be enough of a "challenge" for him, so he has recently started going up the hill backward...with his eyes shut! Always an adventure!
