Uncle Ricky comes for a visit!

We got a great little treat a few weeks ago (March 7th to be exact!). Uncle Ricky came to visit us for a night!!! My family lives 6 hours away, so having family is always exciting! But Uncle Ricky recently moved to Northern Virginia to work at the Abraham Lincoln Cottage, so with his days off he came to spend time with his most favorite, albeit only, nephew (though he'll soon have a new one when he get married in 3 months since Mandy has a nephew too!!!! Then Uncle Ricky will have 2 favorite nephews!


We had such a great time! We went shopping, watched AC/DC Thunderstruck a few dozen times, read stories, had dinner and watched Toy Story 3! I was so happy to see how much Samuel loved Uncle Ricky!!! It's taken awhile for Samuel to warm up to people, but it is finally happening and it makes my heart so happy to see him love others!!! He was Uncle Ricky's pal all day!!!!

The only downfall of the day was when Samuel busted his lip on his little push toy. Lots of blood, a little panic from mommy, and a swollen lip later...Samuel was back to playing!!! A few more grey hairs for my head, but other than some pictures to remember it by, Samuel has already forgotten the whole episode!!!

Watching AC/DC Thunderstruck...for the 15th time!
