Fine Motor Skills

Our speech therapist has been working with Samuel on his fine motor skills because it is one of his strongest points, so we've been doing exercises to include speech into things that Samuel loves.  When it comes to speech therapy the key is repeatition!  You just repeat over and over and over and over again!  Soooooo, Samuel LOVES putting things on a string...yep, that's right folks, I pulled out a box of 40+beads so we could practice speech (colors, shapes, sizes, etc)!  There is really something magical about any toy that has more than 10 parts...they go everywhere, you are constantly picking them up, and always losing pieces!  BUT, anything for speech therapy and Samuel!  He LOVES to string things...and he is now excellent at colors, shapes, and sizes!
