A Boy and his Dog

Samuel has recently taken up an interest in animals! Any and all animals are fascinating to him! He loves it when we go outside for a walk and he gets to see bird, bugs, squirrels, and frogs! However, his absolute favorite are his dogs, Penny Lane and Peso.

Samuel LOVES to look at the dogs! And he also LOVES to "pet" the dogs. He hasn't quite mastered the art of petting, but thankfully both of our beloved black labs are very gentle in nature. Both Penny Lane and Peso adore Samuel and follow him around the house, lay wherever he is playing, and at night time sleep beside his crib or outside of his door!

Last week Samuel was laying on our bed crying (probably because he wanted to be held and how dare mommy to put him down even for a second!) but Peso paced the floors from Samuel to me, and giving me a look as to "Why in the world are you letting him cry! Go help Samuel!" Peso took the matter into his own hands and crawled up on the bed (which is a big NO NO) and laid beside Samuel and licked his face, while I watched this sweet moment from the doorway. I think Samuel and Peso will be best friends!
