Remodeling...

Samuel is a very lucky little boy...he has lots of clothes, toys and loving family! However, Samuel's favorite toys are a toy hammer that his Grandpa George got him and a toy drill that I got him. Typical little boy???

Our house has been under MAJOR renovations since the day after Memorial Day. We've done new siding, fascia, soffet, and a double deck. Inside, Eric has remodeled the living room and kitchen. It has been quite the task...and Samuel is a very observant little fellow and has taken a strong interest in remodeling work...or really anything that daddy is doing he wants to watch! We've spent hours watching Eric pull wires, drill holes, hammer nails and lay flooring. Samuel never gets bored, and if given the opportunity he would probably join in!

Samuel likes to keep his toy hammer and drill close by, just in case he needs to help. However, he was thrilled when Eric took a break from putting the cabinets in our kitchen and let Samuel play inside! Who would have thought empty cabinets could be so much fun???
