It was hard enough when I use to have to pack for myself. I ALWAYS overpack. Now that we have Samuel, packing is impossible. How does a 6-month old need so much stuff??? Clothes in case it is hot, cool, sunny, rainy, for church, for staying home, for going out, shorts, jeans, onesies, diapers, hats, sleepers, toys, books, rattles, baby food, bibs, clothes in case he spits up, or does his infamous #2. Eric saw the pile of stuff for Sammy and put away the small suitcase and brought out the jumbo sized one, the one we used when we went to the Dominican Republic and shared one suitcase.
Samuel has been a BIG help with packing. He spent the time supervising the packing. He's just anxious to go. He voted on packing light...just his favorite rattle. After a weekend in Virginia with his grandparents, aunts, and uncles the child will come back to Maryland completely spoiled! Oh well, Virginia or Bust!
